High Value SF

Evan Turner-Portland Trail Blazers (4,500): The Blazers are still trying to find het best way to work Turner into the rotation and his uneven role and playing time are resulting in a roller-coaster of a season for Turner’s DFS investors. Turner has at least 27 fantasy points in four of his last seven games but has been held under 17 in his other three contests. Last night, he played 30 minutes off the bench and finished with 15-4-6. He usually produces when he gets the time, but it depends on gameflow whether he ends up with numbers like last night or the disappointing 13.6 fantasy points he had on Saturday against the Pacers in just 21 minutes.∗∗

Thabo Sefolosha-Atlanta Hawks (4,300): Sefolosha doesn’t have quite the upside that Turner brings, but he has been much more consistent lately as he helps the Hawks fill in for the injured Kent Bazemore and the struggling Kyle Korver. Sefolosha has played 29+ minutes in each of his last three games and contributed 24.6, 25.5, and 28.2 fantasy points. If he stays in the starting lineup tonight, he’s actually a very safe and reliable play against the Magic even though he probably won’t go off for a monster number.

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (4,100): Gordon is still loaded with that killer word-“potential.” He has a ton of upside but is still struggling to find the right role under coach Frank Vogel. Things have been a little better for Gordon lately and he has managed to scored double-digits in four of his last eight. He had 24.7 fantasy points on 11-6-3 against the Nuggets in his last game on Saturday. Depending on if Nikola Vucevic and Bismack Biyombo are available, Gordon could get extra playing time which would improve his upside.

Andre Iguodala-Golden State Warriors (3,800): It’s surprising that AI is so cheap since he’s such a well-known commodity and a big piece of the Warriors success. He has at least 20 fantasy points in four of his last seven games including 21.3 fantasy points on Sunday against the Timberwolves when he had 6-4-5. He just had a rest day on Saturday against Memphis, so he should be ready to play 25 minutes or so again tonight in a great matchup against the Pelicans. Earlier this season, he played 30 minutes against New Orleans and had 9-2-3 for 17.9 fantasy points. A lot of what he does doesn’t make its way into the statsheet, but he is a crazy-good deal at under 4K.
