The ACC is loaded with some of the best programs to grace college football. Georgia Tech is the latest to join the list. The Yellow Jackets are 24th on the all-time wins list and 17th among FBS programs.

The Yellow Jackets have appeared in an incredible 41 bowl games and have won 24 of them, ranking ninth all-time. They’ve won four Orange Bowls, four Sugar Bowls, a Rose Bowl and a Cotton Bowl.

Winning 15 conference titles is also an impressive feat. The program has seven total national championships to its name, four of claimed and three unclaimed.

Paul Johnson, the current head coach, has led a primarily run-first program and that has worked wonders as the Yellow Jackets have been to the ACC title game four times under his control since 2008.

Georgia Tech has produced 21 consensus All-Americans but has never had a Heisman Trophy winner — just five finalists in school history. The big names to come out of the school recently are Keith Brooking, Calvin Johnson and Demaryius Thomas — and it’s interesting that two All-Pro-caliber receivers came out of a run-first program.
