High Value PG

Brandon Jennings-New York Knicks (4,800): Derrick Rose is ailing with a bad back coming into tonight’s matchup with the Warriors which could open up a ton of playing time for Brandon Jennings. Jennings could see more run if the Knicks second unit gets expanded time against Golden State as well, so there are a number of scenarios where his salary could end up being a bargain. Jennings is risky, though, since he’s coming off a rough 10.5 fantasy points against the Suns despite playing 28 minutes. Before that game, he had at least 20 fantasy points in four of five including a solid 19-3-4 in LA last Sunday. I think he’ll bounce back, but he isn’t low-risk unless Rose is ruled out. With Rose-∗∗ No Rose-∗∗∗∗

Patty Mills-San Antonio Spurs (4,400): Mills is also coming off a little bit of a down game after just 10-0-2 for 13 fantasy points against Boston last night. He had over 22 fantasy points in five of his previous six games, though, and he’ll be in a good matchup against the Suns if he gets the time on the floor. He’ll also get a bump if Pop tries to rest his veterans in Phoenix tonight, so stay tuned to Tony Parker’s status to see if Mills is worth a look. With Parker-∗∗ No Parker-∗∗

Jamal Murray-Denver Nuggets (3,900): Murray went off for 15-6-4 and 29.2 fantasy points in Dallas on Monday. Right now, he is the epitome of a boom-or-bust play with three games in his last five over 24 fantasy points and four games in his last seven under 10 fantasy points. He’s high-risk, but if he gets things rolling at home against Portland he could be a great value.
