High Value SG

Will Barton-Denver Nuggets (5,200): Barton has cooled off since coming back on fire while Danilo Gallinari was out. Still, he should be motivated to get things back in gear tonight as he takes on his former team the Trail Blazers. He faced them early in the season and played 41 minutes totaling 28.7 fantasy points on 16-6-3. Since returning form an ankle injury that cost him a few weeks, He has at least 22 fantasy points in six of his seven games, but he struggled badly on Monday against Dallas when he only had 10.1 fantasy points on 5-3-1. Against the Blazers, I think he’ll bounce back big at home tonight. There is a possibility that Gary Harris will return soon, but even if he plays Barton should have enough opportunity to be worth this salary. ∗∗∗∗

Langston Galloway-New Orleans Pelicans (4,100): Galloway could get some extra run against the Pacers tonight since Tim Frazier is now doubtful with a wrist injury. Jrue Holiday is probable, so Galloway would likely be the primary backup for both starting PG Jrue Holiday and starting SG E’Twaun Moore. Galloway has shown he has a high ceiling with over 27 fantasy points in three of his last five games, but he does carry quite a bit of risk as well since his role can sometimes be minimized coming off the bench. ∗∗

Allen Crabbe-Portland Trail Blazers (3,900): Another cheap play to consider if you are looking to save money at SG is Allen Crabbe who has played over 20 minutes in nine straight off the bench for Portland with at least 15 fantasy points in six of his last seven contests. His ceiling isn’t as high as Galloway’s, but he does have a good matchup against Denver and makes sense if you have to spend under 4K.
