High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (12,000): Davis bounced back from a few off games with 28-8-3 with five blocks for 50.1 fantasy points against the Warriors. At his steep 12K price, he’ll need to do even better to be worth his full salary, but there are some definite signs that he’s ready for a big night. He’ll take on the Pacers who are playing for the second night in a row at home in the Smoothie King Center, so it’s possible he goes for a monster game, but I think he’s high-risk only because he has to do so much to be worth 12K.

Kristaps Porzingis-New York Knicks (8,300): Porzingis has been doing plenty ofor the Knicks lately with back-to-back monster games on their West Coast trip. He had 26-12-2 with seven blocks for 58.4 fantasy points against the Lakers and followed that up with 34-8-0 with three blocks and three steals for 53.6 fantasy points against the Suns. Porzingis had been held to under 32 fantasy points for three straight before his back-to-back blow-ups, so there is some cause for caution in tonight’s unusual matchup with the Warriors, but his upside is obviously huge.

Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (8,100): The Warriors out-spoken forward will have to try and slow down Porzingis tonight. Recently, Green has been playing his best statistical basketball of the season including his first triple-double with 12-12-10 and four steals against the Pelicans on Tuesday for 51.4 fantasy points. He has at least 37 fantasy points in five of his last eight, but he too can be a little bit hit-or-miss depending on game situation and his role in the Warriors offense. Golden State has so many weapons its hard to predict exactly who will do what and when, but Green has been playing well enough lately to be worth his 8K.

Jabari Parker-Milwaukee Bucks (6,300): Parker has been in my FanDuel daily picks all season and he’s back tonight as the Bucks host the Bulls. Parker had 27 points on Monday in Toronto giving him exactly that many points in three of his last four. In the middle of that successful run, he dropped an eight-point dud against the Wizards. Other than that ugly 9.8 fantasy points he has at least 30 fantasy points in each of his last seven games. The Bucks and Bulls should be a close and hard-fought game tonight, and I think Parker will be a big part of the Bucks plans on offense.

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (6,300): Aldridge got the night off last night as the Spurs beat the Celtics, but he is expected to return tonight against the Suns. Phoenix is allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing PF this season, and Aldridge could be set up as the go-to option if Coach Popovich decides to rest anyone else (like Kawhi or Pau) or limit their minutes. Stay tuned to see who’s in and who’s out for the Spurs tonight, but Aldridge should be ready to come back and hoist his part of the load in a good matchup tonight.
