Lamar Odom has entered rehab and will film the recovery process for a new reality show.

Lamar Odom is back in rehab, and this time he’s filming his journey to recovery. Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband is currently seeking treatment at a facility in the San Diego area. The former LA Laker reportedly checked himself into the rehab voluntarily and plans to document his steps to achieving a sober lifestyle.

According to The Huffington Post, Odom’s rehab stay comes a little over a year after his near-fatal drug overdose in October 2015. Lamar was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and spent significant time in the hospital with Khloe Kardashian by his side. Months later, Lamar seemed to be a changed man and thankful to be given a second chance at life. However, eventually reports of Lamar falling off the wagon began to surface. This allegedly led Khloe to wash her hands of Lamar completely and move forward with their divorce.

Now, Odom is hoping to shape up yet again, and will let cameras film the gritty process. Not much else is known about Lamar’s new reality series. However, many fans are expecting the show to air on the E! network, where Odom previously appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and its spin-off Khloe and Lamar. Meanwhile, Odom’s lawyer, Walter Mosley, claims the former NBA star is looking for the right fit to return to television in 2017. This means a different network could be in the cards for Lamar.

“Lamar is still a free agent with respect to his television rights and he looks forward to exploring the opportunity to work in television again in 2017. We’re going to aggressively try to find a place for him.”
