High Value SF

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (4,700): After a miserable start to the season, Gordon has slowly been gathering a little momentum this month and is coming off a monster game on Wednesday when he took advantage of a mismatch and went off for 33-7-2 and 41.4 fantasy points against the Clippers. Gordon has at least 24 fantasy points in three of his last six so things are trending the right way for him even though he’s still high-risk. One thing in his favor tonight is his matchup against the Nets who have been the worst team at limiting opposing SF this season.

Thabo Sefolosha-Atlanta Hawks (4,500): Thabo Sefolosha is still a little underpriced at just 4.5 K after posting at least 24 fantasy points in four straight games since moving into the starting lineup. He doesn’t offer nearly the upside of Aaron Gordon, but he has been more consistent and should be able to put together a good line even in a tough matchup with DeMar DeRozan and his former teammate that follows him on this list.∗∗∗

DeMarre Carroll-Toronto Raptors (4,200): Carroll and the Raptors face his former team the Hawks for the second time this season. In their first meeting, Carroll had 10-5-0 and three steals for 21 fantasy points. He has at least that many fantasy points in three of his last five games and six of his last nine. He’s a low-risk play tonight, but he doesn’t have a super-high ceiling either since Lowry and DeRozan handle so much of Toronto’s offensive workload.∗∗

Kelly Oubre Jr.-Washington Wizards (4,000): Oubre was a last-minute addition to my FanDuel daily picks on Wednesday when he stepped into the lineup for Markieff Morris. Oubre stepped up with 15-6-1 and two steals for 26.7 fantasy points while playing a crazy 40 minutes. Morris is expected to be a gametime call tonight, but even if he is available I think Oubre has earned enough time to be a solid play at just 4K. He has at least 21 fantasy points in three of his last four games and is doing good work wthi points, rebounds, and steals. No Morris-∗∗∗∗ With Morris-∗∗

Jeff Green-Orlando Magic (3,900): In the same matchup that Aaron Gordon gets tonight aginst the Nets, Jeff Green makes an interesting cheap flier since he has at least 16 points and 19 fantasy points in each of his last three games. He actually has at least 19 fantasy points in six of his last eight, but he does put up some bad burns when he’s off (9.4 fantasy points and 9.8 fantasy points in two games last week).
