Kansas City Chiefs. 6. team. 124. What a reversal of fortune. In their Thursday night win over the Raiders in Week 14, the Chiefs overcame three turnovers to notch a victory. On Sunday against the dramatically-improved Titans, Andy Reid’s team came up with three takeaways and still lost a heartbreaker at the gun. Running back Spencer Ware had 70 of the team’s 158 yards on the ground. Alex Smith threw for 163 yards without a score and was picked off once. He did run 10 yards for Kansas City’s second touchdown of the game. But the Chiefs were shut out in the second half after taking a 17-7 lead at intermission and saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.
Next Week: It’s another Sunday evening encounter with the Denver Broncos. Only this time it will be Christmas night and the game at Arrowhead Stadium. Back in Week 12 in the Mile High City, Kansas City mounted a late TD drive to send the game into overtime and Andy Reid’s team came away with the 30-27 win. But it’s worth noting that the Broncos have won their last five games at Kansas City.

Playoff hopes: The latest picture has the Chiefs one game out of first place in the AFC West behind the Oakland Raiders, who have already wrapped up a playoff berth this year. Reid’s team is close to a third postseason berth in four years but aren’t quite there yet.
. 10-4. Previous:
