Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has died at the age of 99.

Zsa Zsa Gabor has died. The famous actress who starred in movies such as Moulin Rouge, Lili and 3 Ring Circus passed away on Sunday after a long battle with multiple health issues. The Hungarian was famous for her acting roles, but really made a name for herself by being a glamorous socialite. Gabor, who has been referred to as the original Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian, had lived the past five years of her life dealing with constant medical problems. Entertainment Weekly reveals that most recently she was hospitalized for a lung infection.

Gabor’s rep, Ed Lozzi, revealed in a statement that he’s relieved his client is finally out of pain. “I am pleased that she is finally out of her misery. For the past five years, Zsa Zsa has suffered chronic dementia, locked away in her mansion laying in a hospital bed being fed through tubes in her naval, not able to speak, see, write or hear. Nor knowing who she was or how famous she was.”

Much like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, Zsa Zsa was a staple in the tabloids. The actress often made headlines for scandalous reasons such as serving jail time for slapping a police officer. Gabor’s husband, Prinz von Anhalt, even got in on the scandal by claiming he was the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter. However, DNA tests later proved that photographer Larry Birkhead was the child’s biological father.

Gabor was also famous for her many high-profile relationships. During her adult life, Zsa Zsa was married to nine different men, including hotel mogul Conrad Hilton, actor George Sanders, designer of the Barbie Doll Jack Ryan and investment banker Herbert Hutner. Gabor became famous for her take on relationships, saying, “I am a marvelous housekeeper. Every time I leave a man, I keep his house.”

Many celebrities, including Hilton, Miley Cyrus, Larry King and Andy Cohen, took to social media to mourn the loss of the one of a kind Gabor following the news of her death.
