High Value SF

T.J. Warren-Phoenix Suns (5,600): It’s starting to look like “Tony Buckets” is back in action for the Suns after a minor head injury sidelined Warren from mid-November to mid-December. He had 19-5-0 for 29 fantasy points against the Rockets on Wednesday last week and followed that with 19-5-2 for 29 more fantasy points on Friday against the 76ers. Earlier this season, he was a lock for 30+ fantasy points per night, and he’ll be a good value if he can continue his return to form tonight in the Suns’ rematch with Houston.∗∗

Robert Covington-Philadelphia 76ers (5,300): Covington has settled into a solid role with the Sixers over the last seven games since he returned from a minor knee issue that cost him two games. Covington has at least 23 fantasy points in six straight and scored at least 11 points in each of those games. He has high upside like he showed against the Raptors with 26-12-2 and 40.4 fantasy points earlier this month, but he can be a streaky shooter in the unproductive way as well. His recent run makes him a solid play with a high ceiling tonight against the Kings who are thin at SF with multiple injuries.∗∗

Thabo Sefolosha-Atlanta Hawks (4,600): Sefolosha had a big game on Friday in Denver with 12-4-3 and four steals for 31.3 fantasy points. He has at least 24 fantasy points in six of his last nine, but his offensive production fluctuates since most of his contributions are on the defensive end. Still, he’s starting for Atlanta and getting plenty of playing time which is enough to make him worth a look at this bargain price.∗∗

C.J. Miles-Indiana Pacers (4,200): Miles has scored at least ten points in six of his last seven games and has over 20 fantasy points in each of his last two contests. He had 11-7-0 for 21.4 fantasy points against New York and 19-2-0 for 22.4 fantasy points against Boston. Miles will need to give the Pacers some scoring punch with Monta Ellis is sidelined and it wouldn’t surprise me if he moves into the lineup instead of the struggling Glen Robinson III. While he didn’t start Thursday, he did play the whole fourth quarter and should get close to 30 minutes again tonight against the Bulls as one of the best value options on the board.∗∗∗
