High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (11,600): If you’re spending big on one star in tonight’s FanDuel daily picks, Davis is definitely one of the best options to consider. The Pelicans big-man is coming off a monster 28-22-1 stat line with four blocks and a steal for 62.9 fantasy points against the Heat last Friday. He has over 55 fantasy points in each of his last three games and tends to do best when he’s on a couple days rest like he is for tonight’s game against Dallas. When he faced the Mavs earlier this season, “The Brow” had 36-13-3 for over 60 fantasy points and he’ll look to post a similar stat line tonight. Dirk Nowitzki is consider probable for tonight, but Andrew Bogut is still out leaving Dallas a little short-handed up front.∗∗

Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (8,200): With Dwight Howard battling a bad back, Paul Millsap has stepped up for Atlanta over their last few games and managed to post over 37 fantasy points in three straight and seven of his last nine games since returning from an injury of his own. He’s a steady, multi-category producer, and he managed 18-10-7 for 44.5 in last weeks’ game against Minnesota who he’ll face again tonight.∗∗

Jabari Parker-Milwaukee Bucks (6,900): Parker has over 42 fantasy points in three of his last five games after posting 21-8-3 against the Wizards on Friday. He’ll face Washington again tonight and is a solid pick with really nice upside. His “down” games over the last month have always come on the second night of back-to-back, and since he’s had two days off he’ll be ready to roll against the Wiz tonight.∗∗∗∗

Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (6,600): Jokic seems to have just one thing between him and fantasy greatness–foul trouble. Since the Nuggets moved him into the starting lineup, Jokic has played limited minutes in four of his last five contests. The one game where he avoided foul trouble he posted a monster 27-17-9 stat line for 59.9 fantasy points against the Mavericks. He put up a dud in a rout at the hands of the Clippers last Tuesday with just 9-6-1 in 21 minutes, but he should fare better against LA tonight since the Clippers won’t have Chris Paul and (possibly) J.J. Redick making a runaway much less likely. He has huge upside, but he is still boom-or-bust since there are some nights he can’t stay on the floor.∗∗

Serge Ibaka-Orlando Magic (6,300): I should just leave Parker, Jokic, and Ibaka in my FanDuel daily picks template since they seem to be in my picks just about every time they take the floor. With Evan Fournier out, Ibaka stepped up with a huge game against the Lakers on Friday finishing with 48.2 fantasy points on 19-11-2 and five blocks. He has over 35 fantasy points in three straight and four of his last five games making him a good play tonight even in a tough matchup against the Grizzlies. ∗∗
