High Value PF

Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (5,500): The Pistons moved Harris to the bench for their last game on Friday against the Warriors. He still played 32 minutes and scored a season-high 26 points on his way to 34.9 fantasy points showing he can be produtive as the leading scorer on the second unit. Harris could be back in the lineup or coming of the bench, but he has boom-or-bust potential either way against the Cavs.∗∗

Thaddeus Young-Indiana Pacers (5,200): Young has been a more steady contributor than Harris over the last week posting 28.2 fantasy points, 34.9 fantasy points, and 36.4 fantasy points in his last three games. He is coming off a nice 15-12-4 double-double against the Celtics when he had 36.4 fantasy points. He didn’t do much in the first two meetings between these teams, but he has been settling in nicely to his role in Indiana lately. ∗∗∗

Jon Leuer-Detroit Pistons (4,900): Leuer got the promotion to the starting lineup when Harris went to the bench, but he only managed 8-7-2 for 21.4 fantasy points after posting 25+ fantasy points regularly when coming off the bench. Ultimately, he’s a better fit as a more traditional PF than Harris, and Leuer should fit in well tonight against Kevin Love and the Cavs. He’s a solid value under 5K although there is some risk due to the rotation in flux in Detroit.∗∗

Marvin Williams-Charlotte Hornets (4,400): Another good sub-5K play tonight is Marvin Williams who gets a great matchup against the Nets who give up the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing PF. Williams had 22+ fantasy points in three straight before playing just 24 minutes on Friday when he had 9-2-1 for just 16.9 fantasy points. He should bounce back tonight in a good matchup and be closer to 25 fantasy points with an even higher ceiling.∗∗

Mike Muscala-Atlanta Hawks (3,700): Muscala has picked up some extra playing time with Dwight Howard dealing with a bad back. Muscala played 30 minutes last Wednesday against Minnesota nand had 16-4-0 for 20.8 fantasy points and followed that with 13-3-2 of 21.6 fantasy points against the Nuggets. Tongiht as the Hawks face the Wolves again, Muscala makes sense as a flier especially if Howard is again sidelined. No Dwight-∗∗With Dwight-∗
