High Salary SG

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (10,300): “The Alphabet” had another solid statsheet-stuffing  game on Monday with 22-12-7 for 46.9 fantasy points. He has at least 46 fantasy points in each of his last eight games straight coming into tonight’s contest against the Pistons. He had 17-8-8 with three blocks against Detroit in their first meeting this year, but his recent form has been so good that he’s worth a look at over 10K even in what should be a defensively-focused game tonight. ∗∗

Nicolas Batum-Charoltte Hornets (7,600): Batum has been excellent for the Hornets over the last couple of weeks with over 40 fantasy points in five of his last six games. He had 24-5-5 with there steals against Brooklyn on Monday for 42.5 fantasy points. Think of him as a Antetokounmpo-lite since he costs much less but also has the same kind of well-balanced, across-the-board production. Batum and the Hornets are in Orlando tonight who Batum had 16-9-7 against earlier this season.∗∗∗

C.J. McCollum-Portland Trail Blazers (7,100): McCollum stepped up on Monday in a tough matchup against the Raptors finishing with 29-3-7 for 41.1 fantasy points with Damian Lillard out. Tonight, he’ll likely have to do the same with Lillard doubtful, but he’s in a much easier matchup to do so as the Blazers host the Kings. When the two teams met last Tuesday, McCollum had 36-2-4 for 44.4 fantasy points even with Lillard going off next to him. McCollum will have all the usage he can handle tonight in a matchup he should be able to exploit. McCollum wouldd have a high ceiling in this matchup regardless of Billiard’s status, but with no Lillard he’s a must-play tonight at home against Sacramento. ∗∗∗∗

Bradley Beal-Washington Wizards (6,700): Beal bounced back from a down game last Friday with a solid effort Monday against Milwaukee. He finished with 22-4-5 for 35.3 fantasy points giving him at least 30 fantasy points in seven of his last ten games. Beal gets good matchup tonight against the banged-up Pacers backcourt and will present a mismatch for Indiana which could lead to a big night for the high-ceiling SG option.∗∗

Zach LaVine-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,500): In a matchup almost too perfect to count on, LaVine takes on the Nuggets tonight who have allowed more fantasy points to opposing SG than any other team in the NBA. LaVine exploded last Friday for a massive 40-point game resulting in 50.2 fantasy points but he has only managed 19.2 fantasy points and 24.7 fantasy points in his two games since then. He had 14-5-3 in 36 minutes against Denver in their meeting earlier this season, but he should be able to exceed those numbers and post a solid bounce-back game tonight in the Mile High City.∗∗∗∗
