2. Dominate in the trenches

If there’s one area where Alabama is going to try and put the game away in, it’s the trenches. The Washington Huskies suffered their lone loss against the USC Trojans this season and it was because of the way their offensive line and defensive line were handled.

Those same USC Trojans were dominated in the trenches by the Alabama Crimson Tide at the beginning of the season. Alabama has NFL talent on both sides of the line and they will look to be physical at the point of attack.

When they are on offense, Cam Robinson will be looking to use his technique to move defenders off the ball and open up lanes for Jalen Hurts and also for Damien Harris and the rest of the running backs.

On defense, Jonathan Allen will look to generate some push and help shut down the run game while getting after Jake Browning. This is where the Crimson Tide are going to try and assert their will early against the Pac-12 Champions. If they can set the tone right away, it could be a long day for the Huskies.
