High Salary C

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (9,100): Towns has been rolling lately and has at least 42 fantasy points in six of his last seven games. He had his first career triple-double on Wednesday in Denver with 15-11-10 with two blocks for 44.2 fantasy points. Tonight, he faces the Bucks who have had issues all season at center with Miles Plumlee, Greg Monroe, and John Henson all sharing time. Towns is a great piece to build around as he continues a strong follow-up campaign to his Rookie of the Year season last year.

Dwight Howard-Atlanta Hawks (8,200): If you can’t afford Towns, Howard makes sense at almost 1,000 cheaper after posting at least 40 fantasy points in four straight games (around a three-game layoff for his back injury). He had 16-22-3 for 49.9 fantasy points against the Knicks on Wednesday, and he’ll be in another fun matchup against Andre Drummond and the Pistons tonight. Only the Knicks have allowed more fantasy points to opposing centers over their last five games than the Pistons have, so Dwight should be primed for another productive game at home for the Hawks.

Joel Embiid-Philadelphia 76ers (6,800):  Embiid sat last night while the Sixers played in Utah, but he’s expected to return to the court tonight against the Nuggets. Embiid has at least 36 fantasy points in three of his last four games dating back to his monster 33-10-1 with three blocks against the Nets for 53.5 fantasy points. His minutes limit is creeping closer to 30 minutes a game, and he has the potential to go off in any matchup. The Nuggets have gotten great production from Nikola Jokic on offense, but they have allowed some good games to opposing centers, so Embiid should produce from this nice price point tonight.∗∗
