High Salary PF

Anthony Davis-New Orleans Pelicans (11,100): Davis had a down game Wednesday against the Clippers who he has struggled against early in his career. However, he should be in a good place to bounce back tonight against the Knicks who have struggled with opposing big men this month. Davis had posted four straight games over 50 fantasy points before just 37.5 fantasy points on Wednesday. He should be back to that level of production tonight and could even get to 60 fantasy points like he had against the Heat last Friday on 28-22-1 with four blocks. He’s very expensive, but he is my favorite massive-salary play tonight.

Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (7,800): Millsap just played the Knicks and had 12-7-6 with two blocks for 35.4 fantasy points on Wednesday. He has at least 34 fantasy points in five of his last six games and nine of his last 11. Millsap’s two down games curing that stretch were on the road in Minnesota and on the road in Toronto. He should be able to avoid a letdown tonight at home against the Pistons who had given up the third-most fantasy points to PF over their last five games.

Kristaps Porzingis-New York Knicks (7,500): Prozingis played 42 minutes in the Knicks overtime loss to Millsap and the Hawks finishing with 24-8-1 and three blocks for 38.1 fantasy points. He has at least 35 fantasy points in four of his last five and six of his last eight. He’ll be in a fun matchup to watch against Anthony Davis and the Pelicans tonight who have been the fourth-worst team against PF this season.

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (7,400): Aldridge had a slow start to the year, but he has been on a tear lately with over 32 fantasy points in five of his last six games and over 43 fantasy points in each of his last three. Aldridge had 18-14-6 and three steals for 49.8 fantasy points against the Blazers last week, and he’ll host his former team in another possible “revenge game” tonight. Portland has been the worst team in the NBA at limiting opposing PF, so Aldridge should be able to pile up more production tonight.

Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (7,200): Jokic has been looking every bit the part of the breakout player he was expected to be coming into the season. He has been able to keep his foul trouble under control in his last two games and post 46 fantasy points on 24-10-4 against the Clippers on Monday and 42.1 fantasy points on 16-8-11 against he Timberwolves on Wednesday. Jokic has been excellent in the three games he has been able to stay on the floor since joining the starting lineup, and he should be able to produce again tonight against the Sixers who are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing centers this season. Although Jokic is listed as PF on FanDuel, he starts at center for the Nuggets.

Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (6,000): Since becoming the Pistons sixth-man, Harris has scored 26, 21, and 23 points after scoring over 20 points just once in his previous 11 games in the starting lineup. Harris has over 33 fantasy points in each of those three games and posted 23-12-2 for 38.4 fantasy points on Wednesday against the Bucks. He doesn’t have the locked-in upside of the more expensive PF discussed above, but he does have good potential despite his status coming off the bench.∗∗∗
