Ryan Ramczyk

OT, Wisconsin

As bad of a year as it has been for the Buffalo Bills, the team was still able to help get LeSean McCoy to the Pro Bowl thanks to a solid offensive line. However, the Bills have a chance to have an even stronger offensive line to work with if they can get a legitimate right tackle.

This year’s class isn’t the strongest at offensive tackle, but there are a couple of guys that could go in the first round, including Wisconsin’s Ryan Ramczyk. Considering the fact that Ramczyk was originally a D-III transfer and is now making noise as a first-round tackle is not something to sneeze at.

Ramczyk might translate best as a left tackle, but he’s still a more than capable blocker in the run game and is more than capable of getting to the second level. He has some really clean technique and does a good job of keeping defenders in front of him.

There are questions about how Ramczyk would handle elite speed rushers at the next level, but that wouldn’t be as big of a problem if he played on the right side of the line. If you thought McCoy had a good year this season, just imagine his numbers with Ramczyk filling out the O-line.
