DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 4
High Salary SG
C.J. McCollum-Portland Trail Blazers (8,600): McCollum has been carrying the Blazers while Damian Lillard has been sidelined, and he’ll have a tall task tonight with Lillard doubtful at Golden State. McCollum has scored 20 points or more in six straight and had a career-high 43 points on New Year’s Day against the Timberwolves powering my DraftKings daily picks to a big start to the year with his 61.75 fantasy points. He has at least 44 fantasy points in three of his last seven games. The only big risk to McCollum tonight is that the game will be non-competitive and coach Terry Stotts will decide to save some of his minutes for tomorrow’s home game against the Lakers.∗∗
Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (8,000): Batum has cooled off a touch with two games under 40 fantasy points after seven in a row with over 44 fantasy points. He still has been decent with 13-6-8 for 36 fantasy points against Cleveland and 19-6-5 for 35.5 fantasy points against the Bulls, and he’s a relatively safe play given the way he produces in multiple categories across the stat sheet.∗∗∗
Evan Fournier-Orlando Magic (6,000): Fournier has missed Orlando’s last six games, but he’ll be a good play if he can get back on the floor tonight. He had 39.25. and 34.75 fantasy points in his last two games before his heel injury, and he’ll return to a good matchup against the Hawks who he had 23-0-6 for 38.5 fantasy points against earlier this month. Make sure he’s confirmed in after shoot around, but he’s a solid play at this price if he is.∗∗
