High Salary C

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (7,800): Drummond has over 42 fantasy points in three of his last five games so he is worth the almost 8K investment if you have the salary flexibility to afford him. He had 55.5 fantasy points to start the year on Sunday with 25-18-0 against the Heat and followed that up with 20-14-2 for 48 fantasy points against the Pacers.  Drummond also gets a good matchup tonight against the Hornets who let Steven Adams have a good game last night and could be short-handed again tonight unless Cody Zeller makes it back from the concussion protocol.∗∗∗∗

Dwight Howard-Atlanta Hawks (7,500): Howard costs a few hundred less than Drummond and could be a solid alternative since he is facing the Pelicans who allow the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers. Howard had 13-12-1 for 35 fantasy points in his return to Orlando last night (cue the boos) which was a nice bounce back after just 17.25 fantasy points against the Spurs on New Year’s Day. Howard has been held under 4036fantasy points in each of his last three games after posting over 42 in his five previous contests. I prefer Drummond’s form and the fact that he isn’t on a back-to-back, but Dwight is a viable alternative since he is in such a good matchup.

Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (7,100): On the opposite end of the matchup spectrum for tongiht, Jokic and the Nuggets host the Spurs who have given up the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing PF and the second-fewest to opposing centers this season. Jokic wil have his work cut out for him as he tries to slow down LaMarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol while avoiding foul trouble and finding ways to produce. Jokic has been very good lately though since joining the lineup. He has at least 36 fantasy points in each of his last five games even though his playing time has been limited by foul trouble or other game situations. He’s risky because of the matchup, but he has huge upside since he has been on fire lately.

Myles Turner-Indiana Pacers (6,800): No team in the NBA is allowing more fantasy points to opposing centers than the Nets are, so Turner is in a good place to produce tonight. He has at least 26 fantasy points in five straight and 13 of his last 15 games. He had a over 35fantasy points in just 23 minutes against Brooklyn at the end of November, and has started the year wth 48 fantasy points against the Magic (on 23-12-3) and 35.75 fantasy points against the Pistons (17-7-1).∗∗∗∗
