Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson pulled in yet another one-handed catch against the Detroit Lions on Saturday night.

Paul Richardson made sure he stood out against the Detroit Lions in the NFC Wild Card Round on Saturday night. With the Seahawks needing an offensive weapon to step up in a game that started slow, Richardson scored the first play of the game on a one-handed catch while fighting off pass interference.

He didn’t stop there with the one-handed catches either. As the Seahawks aimed to ice the game late against the Detroit Lions, Russell Wilson decided to take a chance and throw one deep to Richardson down the sideline.

Richardson would once again make the effort to get separation from the defender and haul in yet another one-handed catch. It would be ruled a catch on the field and it was a huge first down for the Seahawks, as they were able to put the proverbial nail in the coffin of the Lions.

For those that have watched the Seahawks on offense this year, things haven’t always been pretty. A good portion of that has been because of their woes on the offensive line and the fact that their running backs have struggled to stay healthy.

When it comes to the postseason, it’s imperative players step up and make plays. Richardson made those plays and Seattle got a huge performance out of him.
