DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 10
High Value SG
Marcus Smart-Boston Celtics (5,800): With Avery Bradley out for tonight, Smart will likely enter the starting lineup and play expanded minutes. He filled in admirably for Bradley on Saturday with 22-5-6 for 44.25 fantasy points after posting a nice 14-2-8 for 35 fantasy points the night before. Smart’s production can come and go but he’s a solid enough producer in multiple categories to be worth a look tonight as he gets the spot start even though he’ll be in a tough matchup against Toronto.∗∗
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope-Detroit Pistons (5,600): KCP had a monster game on Sunday with 26-4-2 and four steals against the Blazers. He finished that game with 42.5 fantasy points and has at least 29 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Caldwell-Pope does have a tendency to disappear at times like his 7-2-3 line against Charlotte last week when he had just 16 fantasy points, but he has lots of upside to like in a good matchup in Sacramento tonight.∗∗
Jeremy Lamb-Charlotte Hornets (5,100): Lamb is expected to get the start again tonight in place of Nicolas Batum against the Rockets. Lamb stepped up with 13-8-3 for 29 fantasy points against the Spurs on Saturday, and he should be even more motivated as he takes on one of his former teams tonight. He’s actually a pretty safe investment since he produces almost every time he gets expanded playing time. The Rockets SG defense is the second-worst in the league, so look for Lamb to be a great spot start tonight at just over 5K.∗∗∗∗
Bojan Bogdanovic-Brooklyn Nets (4,900): The Nets offense has been unpredictable from game to game this season, but lately Bogdanovic has been producing nice numbers with over 28 fantasy points in each of his last two games. He had 23-2-4 for 35 fantasy points against Cleveland on Friday and followed that with 12-8-3 for 28.5 fantasy points against the Sixers on Sunday. Bogdanovic always has tons of potential to go off if his shot starts falling, but his good non-scoring numbers are even a bigger boost to his fantasy potential.∗∗
Allen Crabbe-Portland Trail Blazers (4,300): Crabbe has at least ten points in six straight games and eight of his last nine. He scored a career-high 30 points on Sunday in the double-OT game against Detroit finishing with 36.25 fantasy points. He has at least 23 fantasy points in four of his last six games, though, so he’s still worth considering tonight even with Lillard back and the possibility of no overtime tonight in LA.∗∗
