High Value SF

Trevor Ariza-Houston Rockets (5,700): Ariza played 42 minutes on Sunday in Toronto and scored 17 points giving him six straight with double-digit scoring. He added good non-scoring numbers to get to 36.25 fantasy points. He has at least 33 fantasy points in four of his last six games and is a solid complement to what the Rockets are doing around James Harden. Tonight, he’s in a good matchup with the Hornets who allow the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing SF. ∗∗

Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,000): Morris has bounced back over his last three games with three games over 23 fantasy points after being held under 20 fantasy points in six of his previous seven games. He had 23.75 fantasy points against the Pacers, 42 fantasy points against the Hornets, and 25.75 fantasy points against the Blazers during that three game stretch, and he’ll look to keep his non-scoring production rolling as he faces Rudy Gay and the Kings tonight.∗∗

Tim Hardaway Jr.-Atlanta Hawks (4,600): Since the Hawks traded Kyle Korver, there should be increased run for Hardaway going forward and he has been heating things up lately with at least 12 points in each of his last four games and over 22 fantasy points in three of his last four. He had 22-2-3 for 30.5 fantasy points on Saturday against Dallas and continues to be the “instant-offense” off the Atlanta bench. He’s a solid pick for 20+ fantasy points tonight against the Nets with upside for much more especially if he ends up as the primary option during potential garbage time.∗∗∗∗

Doug McDermott-Chiacgo Bulls (4,400): McDermott will be asked to carry the load for the Bulls on offense tonight since Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler are out. He was a disappointment last night with just 10 fantasy points on 7-2-0, but he had 29.5 fantasy points and 34.5 fantasy points in his two previous games. Since he’ll get plenty of shots tonight with Wade and Butler out, look for McDermott to be a pretty safe investment tonight with lots of upside against the Wizards. ∗∗∗∗
