Jordan Spieth (11,500): Spieth ended up t3 after a sizzling 65 on Sunday at Kapalua. He has skipped this even the last two seasons after missing the cut in 2014. Even though he doesn’t have course history, his game should fit the course and he’s obviously rolling in with good form after a strong start to 2017.

Hideki Matsuyama (11,000): Matsuyama has been scalding hot lately with four wins and a pair of runner-ups in his last three months in international events. He finished runner-up to Justin Thomas last week for the second time this season. He and Thomas have both won multiple events already on the 2016-17 schedule, and he’s playing as well as anyone coming into this week’s event. He has missed the cut in three of his four trips to this event and finished MDF in his other appearance. Despite his lack of results on this track, you can ride the hot hand this week.

Justin Thomas (10,500): The only player hotter than Matsuyama is Justin Thomas who ran away with last week’s event and will look to sweep the Aloha Swing this week. Thomas also picked up a win at the CIMB Classic in the Fall Series and a t8 at the Safeway Open the week before that. He’s emerging as one of the golfers to watch every week, and he does have a top-ten at Waialae which came two years ago when he finished t6 before missing the cut last season with a 70-71.
