Pat Perez (8,000): Perez won the OHL Classic last fall with a 68-66-62-67. Last week, he surged to a t3 at the SBS, and comes into this week flying high to a course where he has eight career top-20’s including a t17 two years ago.

William McGirt (7,900): McGirt finished t9 in his first trip to Kapalua after a rough Sunday. He notched his career-best t13 at this event last season, and will look to keep rolling this week who could contend if he can get his putter straightened out.

Harold Varner (7,800): Varner won the Australian PGA a month ago and will look to tear up the PGA after  solid rookie season. He finished t13 last year in his Sony Open debut, and he’ll be looking to make it two strong finishes in as many years this season. Varner is definitely a player I expect to be a regular in my DraftKings fantasy golf picks throughout the season.

Charles Howell (7,800): Howell has played every tournament at Waialae since 2002 and has made the cut every single season. He has ten top-15 finishes and has finished as runner-up twice in the past. This season, he started well with three top-15’s in the Fall Series as he again looks to be a cheap way to grab someone who will make the cut and give you some upside.

Zac Blair (7,600): Blair finished third last season at The Sony and t6 in 2015. He hasn’t been able to build on that momentum in either season, but he did make 22 of 36 cutes last year and at least get into the FedEx Cup Playoffs. He’s a cheap horse-for-the-course play if you think he can be in the mis in Hawaii for the third straight season.
