Kevin Kisner (7,400): Kisner finished last season in rough form and didn’t get things figured out in the Fall Series. After some time off, he’ll return to where he finished t5 last year making him a boom-or-bust gamble at under 7.5K.

Tony Finau (7,400): His MC and t64 doesn’t inspire much confidence in his game on this course, but he has been playing well enough recently to invest in Fianu this week even though the course doesn’t perfectly fit his bombing tendencies. Last week, he finished in the top ten in Maui, and he’ll look to add another top-10 this week at The Sony. He’s boom-or-bust, but he’s a lot of fun to follow and watch each week as well.

Sean O’Hair (7,200): O’Hair had a very nice season last year bouncing back after injuries derailed a promising rise to prominence. He returned with a good season last year including three top-ten’s and advancing through the FedEx Cup playoffs all the way to the finale. He had a t10 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open last fall and also has a pair of career top-ten’s here at The Sony including a t2 back in 2012.

Mackenzie Hughes (7,100): The young Canadian won the RSM Classic  and earned his way to Kapalua where he finished t25 last week. Hughes is a sleeper to keep an eye on this week, but he will be making debut so it’s hard to predict how he’ll fare.
