FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 10
High Value PG
Marcus Smart-Boston Celtics (5,200): With Avery Bradley out for tonight, Smart will likely enter the starting lineup and play expanded minutes. He filled in admirably for Bradley on Saturday with 22-5-6 for 40 fantasy points after posting a nice 14-2-8 for 33.4 fantasy points the night before. Smart’s production can come and go but he’s a solid enough producer in multiple categories to be worth a look tonight as he gets the spot start even though he’ll be in a tough matchup against Toronto.∗∗∗
Malcolm Brogdon-Milwaukee Bucks (4,800): Brogdon stepped up on Sunday with Giannis Antetokounmpo out against Washington and scored a craeer-high 22 points. He finished with 34.7 fantasy points on 22-1-5 while continuing to start at PG even with Matthew Dellavedova available. Brogdon has at least 31 fantasy points in three of his last five and has a lot of upside to take consider even in a tough matchup against the Spurs.∗∗
Ty Lawson-Sacramento Kings (4,400): Sacramento coach Dave Joerger tried two-PG lineup on Friday against the Clippers and both Lawson and Darren Collison fared pretty well. He dian’t start on Sunday against Golden State but still managed 20.9 fantasy points on 15-2-3. He has at least 20 fantasy points in seven of his last eight full-strength games (not counting the game he left early with a facial injury). Tonight as the Kings face the Pistons, Lawson is an interesting option to check out although he changing role form game to game makes him a little risky.∗∗∗
