High Value SG

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope-Detroit Pistons (5,700): KCP had a monster game on Sunday with 26-4-2 and four steals against the Blazers. He finished that game with 38.8 fantasy points and has at least 29 fantasy points in three of his last four games. Caldwell-Pope does have a tendency to disappear at times like his 7-2-3 line against Charlotte last week when he had just 14.9 fantasy points, but he has lots of upside to like in a good matchup in Sacramento tonight.∗∗

Tim Hardaway Jr.-Atlanta Hawks (4,500): Since the Hawks traded Kyle Korver, there should be increased run for Hardaway going forward and he has been heating things up lately with at least 12 points in each of his last four games and over 22 fantasy points in three of his last four. He had 22-2-3 for 26.9 fantasy points on Saturday against Dallas and continues to be the “instant-offense” off the Atlanta bench. He’s a solid pick for 20+ fantasy points tonight against the Nets with upside for much more especially if he ends up as the primary option during potential garbage time.∗∗∗∗

Allen Crabbe-Portland Trail Blazers (4,200): Crabbe has at least ten points in six straight games and eight of his last nine. He scored a career-high 30 points on Sunday in the double-OT game against Detroit finishing with 32.7 fantasy points. He has at least 21 fantasy points in four of his last six games, though, so he’s still worth considering tonight even with Lillard back and the possibility of no overtime tonight in LA.∗∗

Jeremy Lamb-Charlotte Hornets (4,000): Lamb is expected to get the start again tonight in place of Nicolas Batum against the Rockets. Lamb stepped up with13-8-3 against the Spurs on Saturday, and he should be even more motivated as he takes on one of his former teams tonight. He’s actually a pretty safe investment since he produces almost every time he gets expanded playing time. The Rockets SG defense is the second-worst in the league, so look for Lamb to be a great spot start tonight at just 4K.∗∗∗∗
