High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (12,100): Westbrook should be fired up to get revenge on the Grizzlies who held him to just 25 fantasy points in their first meeting this season when he had 21-5-0 (points-rebounds-assists) before being ejected after playing just 23 minutes. Westbrook has been back to his elite form lately which makes him worth his hefty 12K salary. He has 21-9-14 for 51.8 fantasy points on Monday night against the Bulls giving him at least 50 fantasy points in four straight and 11 of his last 13. He can definitely go off for a monster night tonight against Memphis, but he’ll have to get to 60+ fantasy points to be worth his salary tonight. His price and the matchup make him high-risk even though he has a limitless ceiling.∗∗

Chris Paul-Los Angeles Clippers (9,200): While John Wall and Isaiah Thomas go head-to-head in the Eastern Conference, don’t forget about Chris Paul late who will get a great matchup against the Magic. CP3 has been back for two games after missing six of seven with a bum hamstring. In both his games back he has looked strong with 14-6-12 against the Kings for 42.2 fantasy points in 31 minutes and 19-6-18 for 56.2 fantasy points against the Heat in his last game on Sunday. With Blake Griffin still sidelined, Paul will have full run of the offense tonight against the Magic who have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing PG this season and the sixth-most over their last five games. Paul should carve them up late making him a great option as he gets back to 100%.∗∗

Kyrie Irving-Cleveland Cavaliers (8,400): Irving has been very productive when he has been available for Cleveland with at least 33 fantasy points in nine straight games around his three-game absence with hamstring tightness. Last night, that string came to a stop when he had just 20-4-4 with a steal agains the Jazz for 29.8 fantasy points. He still has 45 fantasy points in six of hist last ten games, and he should be set up for success in what should be a high-scoring game against the Blazers.∗∗∗∗

Mike Conley-Memphis Grizzlies (7,200): Conley missed the game against the Thunder two weeks ago, but he has played in all five of Memphis’s games since then. He has at least 17 points in each of those contests with over 34 fantasy points in four of those five games and each of his last three. The Thunder are currently allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game int he NBA to opposing PG, so Conley is in a good matchup to find success is as he goes head-to-head with Russell Westbrook.∗∗
