An angry Charger fan eggs the team’s headquarters after the announcement of the team’s pending move to Los Angles.

After news broke that the Chargers intend on acting on their option to move to Los Angeles for the 2017 season, some of the team’s most loyal fans reacted to the news with sorrow. Some took their anger to more extreme measures.

According to Dan Gartland of SI.com, an angry Charger fan took to Periscope to broadcast his displeasure with Dan Spanos’ and his intentions on getting out of San Diego as quickly as possible. After the news was broke about the team’s intended move to LA, a small number of fans and journalists began to gather at the team’s headquarters.

Though the gathering was pretty much your standard “wait for info” event, one man, who is unidentified, brought a dozen eggs to the building and began pelting the building, leaving the front in a sea of yellow egg yoks.

The cops were called to the headquarters, but the man scurried away before the boys in blue  showed up. The man is seemingly unfazed that he may be caught by the police, telling the fans on his Periscope:

“I Know I’m gonna get in trouble, but I don’t care.”

We guess he isn’t afraid of jail.

But the protest didn’t stop there. According to Michael Smolens of the San Diego Union-Tribune, a protest is being planned at Charger Park on Thursday morning. One fan, Frank Sesma, told the U-T that he can’t bring himself to root for the Chargers in Los Angeles.

“I don’t know if I could even pick another team. I’ll be a diehard San Diego State fan.”
