High Salary PG

Jrue Holiday-New Orleans Pelicans (7,300): Holiday shook off a shooting slump on Thursday and scored 21 points against the Nets to power him to 36 fantasy points. He had been held to 30 fantasy points or fewer for the three previous games, although his non-scoring numbers had remained strong. Holiday definitely benefited from the matchup and the absence of Anthony Davis in Thursday’s game, but I think Davis will return tonight in Chicago where Holiday will be in a little bit tougher matchup against the Bulls. He’s a solid play as a starter in a good offensive situation, but he still needs to prove he can get around 20 points every game before he’s a great investment.∗∗

Eric Bledsoe-Phoenix Suns (6,500): Bledsoe is dripping with upside at under 7K, but he’s also still risky coming off a down game in Mexico City on Tuesday night with 11-6-5 for 28 fantasy points. Before that contest, though, he was rolling with at least 37 fantasy points in six straight games. The Suns and Spurs have met twice in the last month, and his lines in those games haven’t been great with 14-4-5 and 13-2-3. His history of down games against San Antonio is definitely cause for concern tonight, but he has the potential to still put together a good game since every other game over the past month he has excelled in.∗∗

George Hill-Utah Jazz (6,300): If Holiday is over-priced and Bledsoe too risky for your taste tonight, check out Jazz PG George Hill who has been healthy for four games in a row for the Jazz. He has missed a ton of games this season with a variety of injuries, but he has been excellent when he’s on the floor. Hill has at least 26 fantasy points in each of his last four games since returning from his latest ailment and had 22 points last night on 8-13 shooting in just 27 minutes as the Jazz blew out the Pistons. He should be back to 33+ minutes tonight in a good matchup against Orlando who has allowed the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG  over their last five games and the seventh-most so far this season.∗∗∗∗
