Aaron Rodgers

Quarterback, Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers finally threw an interception. It was an impressive run, but even the best runs must come to an end at some point. Rodgers had gone over two months without throwing an interception before throwing one against the Dallas Cowboys. He had arguably his career’s signature moment last week, as he threw one of the most memorable Hail Mary’s in playoff history. Sure, it wasn’t a touchdown like his one against the New York Giants. But how many quarterbacks could make this throw on the run while throwing against their body?

Ever since his drive with four minutes left in the first half against the Giants, Rodgers has been the best quarterback in the 2016 NFL playoffs. Ryan has given him a darn good run for his money, but the Packers quarterback has dragged his team to two victories. That’s what elite players do.

Rodgers will be facing who many consider to be the favorite to win the NFL MVP when Green Bay faces Atlanta. It’s a showdown and both quarterbacks know the game will be determined by them. Ryan is playing as well as he’s ever played and has proven he can be a one man offense, just like Rodgers. Both defenses will have only one job – get the ball back to their quarterback.
