High Salary PG

Kyle Lowry-Toronto Raptors (8,800): Lowry took a game off on Monday but played 40 minutes on Tuesday in Philadelphia with 41.8 fantasy points on 24-4-4 (points-rebounds-assists) to go with five steals. He has at least 40 fantasy points in five of his last seven games including a game with 51.7 fantasy points against the Bulls and a game with 60.8 fantasy points against the Jazz. Tonight, he takes on the Hornets in a good Eastern Conference matchup between him and Kemba Walker. Lowry is an option that makes sense tonight as the Raptors go on the road for an important contest.

Damian Lillard-Portland Trail Blazers (8,400): Lillard and the Blazers just faced the Hornets on Wednesday and lost by 18. Lillard had a solid 21-7-6 for 39.4 fantasy points and has at least 20 points in six of his seven games since returning from his latest injury. He has at least 33 fantasy points in all six of those games and gets good assists to go with his solid scoring. He’s in a good matchup tonight in Philadelphia, and I see him as slightly higher risk than Lowry although I really like his ceiling in this matchup.

Jeff Teague-Indiana Pacers (8,000): Teague has a great matchup in the late game against the Lakers. He’ll be going for his third straight double-double and has at least eight assists in each of his last nine games. He had 22-7-11 for 47.9 fantasy points in a big game against the Kings on Wednesday, and he has at least 32 fantasy points in four of his last five contests. The Lakers are in the top five in the NBA in most fantasy points allowed to opposing PG, so Teague is in a great place to produce for the Pacers tonight.

Mike Conley-Memphis Grizzlies (7,700): In the same matchup that Teague exploited on Wednesday, Conley faces the Kings tonight looking to bounce back from a lackluster 20-3-6 for 27.6 fantasy points in Washington on Wednesday. He had posted 38+ fantasy points in five of his previous six games, and will look to get back to that level tonight in a good matchup. If he does, he’ll be a good investment at this price.

Elfrid Payton-Orlando Magic (6,000): Payton is also coming off a downer on Wednesday when he only managed 19.9 fantasy points on 14-2-3 against the Pelicans. Prior to that game, he had over 33 in three straight games including a game with 57.3 fantasy points against the Jazz when he had 28-9-9. He has a good shot to return to form against the Bucks at home even though he’ll have to deal with Malcolm Brogdon. In two games against Milwaukee this season, Payton is averaging 12-6-5 with a pair of steals.
