High Value SF

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (5,000): Gordon brings huge potential every time he takes the floor, but he continues to be maddeningly inconsistent for Orlando and his fantasy owners. Gordon has at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last nine games but has been held under 20 fantasy points in three of his last six. One thing definitely in his favor tonight is the matchup as the Magic take on the Bucks who allow the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing SF. However, the last time the Magic faced the Bucks, Gordon was a brutal 0-12 from the field finishing scoreless in 32 minutes with just eight rebounds and three assists. He did at least score in their first meeting but still only shot 1-5. Gordon can definitely be a great value at this price, but as is usually the case he’s a big-time roll of the dice tonight.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson-Brooklyn Nets (4,600): Another SF with potential to be a breakout star in the future is the Nets’ Hollis-Jefferson who has been almost as inconsistent as Gordon through the season although without quite as high a ceiling. He has looked good in his last two games, though, with 14-7-2 for 26.4 fantasy points against the Rockets on Sunday and 14-8-3 for 31.1 fantasy points against the Raptors on Tuesday. Tonight, he gets a good matchup against the Pelicans but he only managed 4-4-4 for 18.8 fantasy points against them last week when he faced them.

Kent Bazemore-Atlanta Hawks (4,500): Bazemore was able to extend his streak of double-digit scoring to four games on Wednesday although he only played 21 minutes in the Hawks loss to the Pistons. He didn’t produce much aside from his ten points finishing with just 13.9 fantasy points, but he did have 21.1 fantasy points, 31.7 fantasy points, and 29.9 fantasy points in his previous three games. Tonight, he’ll have to deal with Jimmy Butler and the Bulls, but there is some upside to like if you think he is starting to heat up after a slow shooting start to the season.

Brandon Ingram-Los Angeles Lakers (4,200): Continuing the theme of players with upside but little consistency, Ingram is growing in his role with the Lakers and now has at least 19 fantasy points in five of his last seven contests. He’s coming off a strong 15-5-4 with three steals against the Nuggets in 37 minutes on Tuesday, and he’ll likely get another start tonight against the Pacers since Luol Deng has yet to return to practice. If starting-

Joe Ingles-Utah Jazz (4,000): Ingles is a solid play when Rodney Hood is out like he is tonight. Ingles got a spot start in Phoenix and has a solid 11-2-5 for 23.9 fantasy points. He usually ends up playing around 30 minutes and producing around 20 fantasy points when he starts, so give him a look tonight in Dallas. He doesn’t have as high a ceiling as Ingram, but he is also a little less likely to go total bust on you. If starting-
