DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 21
High Salary PG
Eric Bledsoe-Phoenix Suns (8,500): While he doesn’t get the hype of some of the other PG in the league, Bledsoe has been one of the hottest PG in the NBA lately. Against the Cavs on Thursday, he totaled 50 fantasy points on 22-6-9 (points-rebounds-assists while adding four steals. He now has at least 50 fantasy points in three of his last five contests and has been able to get to at least 40 fantasy points in seven of his last ten. The Knicks have been pretty decent against opposing PG this season, but I like Bledsoe’s form rolling into tonight’s game at MSG.∗∗∗∗
Kemba Walker-Charlotte Hornets (8,000): The other guard that I think makes sense at 8K or more is Kemba Walker of the Hornets. Walker and the Hornets got a big win last night by running past Toronto, and will follow that game up with a matchup against the Nets tonight. Brooklyn has allowed more fantasy points per game to opposing PG than any other team in the NBA. Walker had 15-3-6 against the Nets in their meeting the day after Christmas and 30-7-1 when the teams met in early November. Last night, he had 32-4-8 for 51 fantasy points against Toronto. He now has scored at least 23 points in four of his last five games and has been able to total 38 fantasy points or more in eight of his last 11.∗∗∗∗
Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (7,000): The Heat and Bucks meet tonight in Miami for the third game between those teams this season. Dragic averaged 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.0 block in their first two games. He had 30.75 fantasy points against the Bucks in their last meeting last Friday on 19-3-3. Since that game in Milwaukee, Dragic has had two great games in South Beach with 21-8-8 against the Rockets for 42.5 fantasy points followed by 32-6-2 for 44 fantasy points against Dallas. He has at least 39 fantasy points in four of his last eight and has lots of upside even in a tough matchup against Milwaukee.∗∗
Derrick Rose-New York Knicks (6,400): Since going AWOL earlier this month, Rose has scored at least 15 points in each of his last six games. In three of those games he has been worth this salary including a monster game against Boston on Wednesday when he had 30-10-5 for 57.5 fantasy points. The following night he cooled off a bit with 28.75 fantasy points against the Wizards, but he should bounce back against the Suns in a good matchup tonight.∗∗∗
