DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 21
High Salary SG
Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (7,600): The Nets bad defense makes more than just Kemba Walker a good play from Charlotte. Last time he Hornets faced Brooklyn, Nicolas Batum had 24-5-5 when the Hornets for over 40 fantasy points. That game came in the middle of a great run of five straight games with over 40+ fantasy points. He had a knee injury after that and has been a little less locked in lately. He had just 13-4-6 with a steal for 27 fantasy points last night against he Raptors. However, given his plus matchup, he’s still a good option tonight if you think he can return to his best form of the season.∗∗
Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (6,700): The Suns’ sophomore SG has scored at least 20 points in each of his last seven games and has put together over 39 fantasy points or more in four of his last five games including a well-balanced 21-7-8 against the Cavs on Thursday night. The Knicks have struggled to defend opposing SG all season, so I think Booker can keep it going tonight in what should be a very entertaining early game.∗∗∗∗
Will Barton-Denver Nuggets (6,500): Gary Harris has already been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Clippers which will open the door for Will Barton to be a solid option in today’s DraftKings daily pick again. In his last few gams, Barton has filled in excellently with 45 fantasy points on 26-4-8 against LA on Tuesday followed by 18-3-7 for 35.25 fantasy points in in even tough matchup in San Antonio Thursday. Tonight, he comes home to Denver as the Nuggets face the Clippers who he posted 12-8-6 against for over 40 fantasy points in their last meeting. Double check his teammates availability before tip-off, but as long as he gets the opportunity he should continue to produce.∗∗∗
