High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (11,500): Westbrook is surprisingly affordable compared to what he normally costs as his salary drops under 12K for tonight’s trip to Utah to face the Jazz. In his last game, he had 27-15-13 (points-rebouns-assists) for a huge 73.25 fantasy points in Golden State. The Thunder haven’t played since that game last Wednesday night giving Westbrook four days off to prepare for tonight’s game in Utah. While his outside shot has cooled a bit this month, he still have over 55 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games and over 70 fantasy points in five of those contests. Since he’ll be well rested, I like Westbrook to bet to 60+ fantasy points tonight which would make him a good value at this price.∗∗∗∗

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (10,600): Another 5-figure PG to consider tonight is “The Alphabet” who is taking on James Harden and the Rockets for the second time this season. Last week, the Rockets beat the Bucks, but the Greek freak had 32-11-6 and three blocks for 62.75 fantasy points. He has only reached 50 fantasy points twice in his last seven games, though, so he comes in with form that is less than ideal even though he usually steps up when big name stars come to visit him in Milwaukee.∗∗

John Wall-Washington Wizards (9,300): Wall has been so consistent and productive lately that he’s actually a great bargain at just over 9K. He has at least 41 fantasy points in seven straight games and has over 50 fantasy points in two of his last three. He had 46.25 fantasy points in his  last game against the Pistons on 19-7-10 which was his third straight double-double. He had his best game recently against the Knicks last Thursday when he finished with 61.75 fantasy points on 29-5-13. Tonight, he’ll look to have a line like that in an important game against the Hornets in Charlotte. In their last meeting, Wall had  25-6-10 for over 50 fantasy points.∗∗∗

Kyrie Irving-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,900): Coming into a good matchup tonight, Kyrie has been rolling with at least 25 points in three of his last four games and at least 38 fantasy points in each of those contests. He had a monster 29-3-9 with two steals against the Spurs in the Cavs’ OT loss on Saturday to finish with 50.75 fantasy points. Tonight, he gets a great  matchup as he faces the Pelicans who are giving up the fifth-most fantasy points per game in the NBA to opposing PG. All Cavs active-∗∗∗ James/Love resting-

Jeff Teague-Indiana Pacers (7,700): In there of his last four games, the Pacers PG has posted 39 fantasy points or more. He also had a solid game the last time he faced tonight’s opponent, the Knicks. He had 19-4-8 for 35.5 in that meeting and will be a solid play if he can produce a similar line tonight.∗∗∗

Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (7,200): The Heat take on the Warriors tonight who travel over from Orlando where they beat the Magic yesterday afternoon. Since their long road-trip which included a stop in Golden State, the Heat have gotten a great three game homestand from PG Goran Dragic who has posted 21-8-8 for 42.5 fantasy points, 32-6-2 for 44 fantasy points, and 25-1-6 for 37.25 fantasy points. While there is risk of a blowout early and reduced minutes, Dragic also could go off for a huge night if the Heat can keep it close. His three-point shooting has been on in his last two games (combined 7-9), and he’ll be a good play if he stays hot behind the arc.
