High Value SG

J.J. Redick-Los Angeles Clippers (5,100): The Clippers need Reddick to step up with Chris Paul out and Blake Griffin still uncertain for tonight. Redick only had 24.75 fantasy points on Saturday in Denver but appeared on his way to a bigger game before things turned into a blowout. He has over 24 fantasy points in seven of his last nine games and has the potential to go off tonight against Atlanta if his shots are falling and the game stays close.

Bojan Bogdanovic-Brooklyn Nets (4,400): Bogdanovic is a mid-range play who always has plenty of upside since when he is on he can catch fire and fill up the score sheet. He has at least 25 fantasy points in each of his last two games and six of his last nine, but the real reason to consider him tonight is that he can go for 35+ fantasy points like he did last  Friday in New Orleans when he had 37.5 fantasy points on 23-6-2.

Garrett Temple-Sacramento Kings (4,200): Another value player stepping into a bigger role in his team’s offense is Garrett Temple who is helping the Kings fill in for the injured Rudy Gay. On Friday, he got the start and had 29.25 fantasy points on 14-3-3. He played 30 minutes the next night in Chicago and had 8-3-3 with two steals and a block for 21.75 fantasy points. He’s definitely getting the time now that Gay is out, so give him a look if you go cheap at SG.

Iman Shumpert-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,000): Another cheap SG that I’ve been in on lately is Iman Shumpert of the Cavs who has stepped into the starting lineup for the last four games. He has at least 22 fantasy points in each of those outings while scoring 11 points or more and adding good rebounds and steals numbers. Tonight, he’ll get a good matchup against New Orleans in what should be a high-scoring game in the Big Easy. It definitely helps his value that Shump runs with such a solid starting lineup, but I like him a lot at just 4K.∗∗

Matthew Dellavedova-Milwaukee Bucks (3,500): Despite outstanding play from rookie Malcolm Brogdon, coach Jason Kidd elected to get Dellavedova back into the starting lineup on Saturday in Miami. Dellavedova came through with one of his best games of the season in the Bucks’ loss totaling 15-7-2 for 28.5 fantasy points. He had been a non-factor off the  bench, but if he starts again tonight he has the potential to be a great bargain against the Rockets in what could turn into a high-scoring three-points shootout.
