DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 23
High Salary PF
Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (8,000): Yesterday wasn’t one of Green’s best games as he finished with just 23 fantasy points against the Magic on 6-10-4 with no defensive additions. It was an unusual letdown from Draymond, though, since he came into the contest with at least 39 fantasy points in seven of his previous nine games. Last time the Warriors played the Heat he had 13-9-5 with two blocks and two steals for 39.2 fantasy points, and he should be able to get to at least that level of production tonight despite yesterday’s downer.∗∗∗
Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (7,800): In many ways, Millsap’s game is similar to Draymond’s in that he produces balanced lines with good numbers in multiple categories. He is coming off a strong 22-10-1 against the Sixers when he had 42.5 fantasy points which gives him at least 36 fantasy points in nine of his last ten. Even in a tough matchup with the Clippers, Millsap can still be used with confidence since he produces fantasy points in so many diverse ways.∗∗∗
Jabari Parker-Milwaukee Bucks (6,900): In the Bucks last game, Parker didn’t get the start as a punishment for sharing the content of a team meeting. He still produced good numbers off the bench, though, with 33.75 fantasy points against the Heat on 16-7-4 with a block and a steal. He has at least 33 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games, but his one down game came against tonight’s opponent when he shot just 5-15 in Houston for 27.75 fantasy points. Parker always has a high ceiling, but the matchup tonight is enough to give his potential owners a bit of pause.∗∗
LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (6,900): Aldridge gets a great matchup against the Nets who have given up the third-most fantasy points to opposing PF so far this season. LA is coming off a big game in Cleveland when he had 16-12-6 for 45 fantasy points. He’ll continue to carry the load offensively with Pau Gasol out and team with Kawhi Leonard to keep the Spurs rolling. They’ll need to avoid a letdown game after their big win in Cleveland, and Aldridge is a boom-or-bust play in Brooklyn tonight.∗∗
