High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (12,600): The stars of tonight’s DraftKings board are mostly at the “big” end of the lineup with the exception of Westbrook. He’s coming off another good game last night when he had 63.5 fantasy points on 27-12-10 for his third straight triple-double. He is in a tough matchup tonight since the Mavericks are excellent at defending opposing PG, but the problem for Dallas is that all their PG are injured. Deron Williams and J.J. Barea are both out leaving Set Curry and Pierre Jackson to carry the load. With the Mavs short of offense, this could be a one-sided contests which also raises the risk of owning Westbrook on the second night of a back-to-back where he may not have to log a ton of minutes late.

Eric Bledsoe-Phoenix Suns (9,200): While Westbrook has by far the biggest name and highest ceiling at PG tonight, Bledsoe comes into tonight playing well and in a much better matchup as he faces the Nuggets. Bledsoe had a rough game Tuesday against Minnesota totaling just 29.75 fantasy points, but he had been rolling with at least 40 fantasy points in each of his previous five games including a massive 68.5 fantasy points from Sunday against the Raptors. In the game he went off he shot 11-17 but Tuesday ended up just 5-18.  If his shots are dropping in Denver he could post a line similar to the 35-6-6 with two blocks and two steals he posted against the Nuggets the last time he faced them.∗∗

Ricky Rubio-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,800): After missing a  game following the death of his grandmother, Rubio returned with 14-4-10 and a steal to total 37.5 fantasy points against the Suns on Tuesday. He has at least 31 fantasy points in six straight games where he didn’t have to leave with an injury, so look for him to be a safe and solid play at this price as he faces the Pacers.
