High Salary PG

John Wall-Washington Wizards (10,200): On Tuesday, Wall had 27-7-7 (points-rebounds-assists) for 49.9 fantasy points. He has at least 42 fantasy points in four of his last five games including a three-game run of double-doubles. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against the Hawks who are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing PG this season. The Wizards started the season with a game against Atlanta when Wall had 12-3-10 and then had 21-10-6 when he faced them again the following week. These Eastern Conference foes haven’t faced off since then, but the matchup and current form are enough to make him a good play tonight.

Isaiah Thomas-Boston Celtics (9,800): Thomas has been even more consistent than Wall lately with at least 41 fantasy points in seven straight games and at least 45 fantasy points in each of his last four. On Wednesday against the Rockets, IT4 had 38-5-9 for 56.5 fantasy points, and he’ll look to continue his All-Star form as he and the C’s host Orlando.

Kyrie Irving-Cleveland Cavaliers (8,400): The Cavs are struggling and coach Tyronn Lue reiterated this morning he will limit LeBron and Kyrie’s minutes. Kyrie has played 40+ minutes in three straight for Cleveland and has 48.1 fantasy points (29-3-9), 63.4 fantasy points (49-2-4), and 35.2 fantasy points (20-1-6). He is a good play tonight against the Nets who allow more fantasy points to opposing PG than any other team in the NBA, but he is a little risky since the game could be a blowout and his minutes will be fewer.∗∗∗

Mike Conley-Memphis Grizzlies (7,400): Conley was quiet against the Raptors with just 11-3-5, but the Grizzlies still got the win. Conley had scored at least 15 points in  the previous 11 games before Wednesday’s letdown, and he should be back to 30+ fantasy points tonight against the Blazers in what should be a high-scoring late game.

Jeff Teague-Indiana Pacers (7,200): Teague has an ultra-high ceiling as he faces the Kings tonight in Indiana. He is coming off a big game last night when he exploded for 20-8-13 to total 47.1 fantasy points. He has at least 39 fantasy points three of his last five dating back to his 22-7-11 against the Kings last Wednesday which was good for 47.9 fantasy points. The Kings PG defense is a good matchup for Teague again tonight, so look for him to be a very good play at this price.

Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (7,200): Another good PG play at just over 7K is Dragic who is picking up extra minutes while Tyler Johnson is sidelined. On Wednesday he had 17-9-9 in 39 minutes against the Nets for 42.3 fantasy points which was his fourth game in his last five with at lest 34 fantasy points. Tonight, he’ll take on the dysfunctional Bulls in Chicago who he had 21-5-11 for 38.5 fantasy points against in their meeting in mid-December.

Dennis Schroder-Atlanta Hawks (6,700): For a player under 7K, Schroder has been remarkably consistent and productive with at least 34 fantasy points in four straight and five of his last six. He had 24-2-9 for 38.9 fantasy points against the Bulls on Wednesday, and he’ll look to have another good line against the Wizards tonight.∗∗∗
