FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 27
High Salary SF
LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (10,800): LeBron comes into tonight’s game against the Nets with two triple-doubles in his last two games. He had 26-10-12 against the Pelicans for 54 fantasy points and 24-13-11 for 57.1 fantasy points against the Kings. However, he has played 44+ minutes in each off is last three and his minutes are expected to be reduced going forward. Tonight, he takes on the Nets who have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing SF so far this season. James has huge upside, but the game could get one-sided and allow coach Tyronn Lue to get LeBron less playing time.∗∗
Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks (8,000): While trade rumors continue to swirl around ‘Melo, he has at least 25 points in four straight games and five of his last six. He had 30-8-3 for 37.1 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Wednesday and has 33+ fantasy points in each of those games with 25 points or more. Anthony could be on his way out of New York, but he’s a solid play while he continues to get so much playing time. He gets a good matchup, tonight against the Hornets who have given up the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing SF this season.∗∗∗
Paul George-Indiana Pacers (7,300): PG13 has over 31 fantasy points in five of his last six games including over 43 fantasy points in each of his last two contests. Last night, he had 32-4-5 with a steal for 43.3 fantasy points against the Timberwolves which was similar to his 31-7-3 for 44.9 fantasy points against the Knicks last Monday. George has been playing well enough to be considered a strong play at this price although his back-to-back games make him higher risk tonight.∗∗
