High Value SG

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope-Detroit Pistons (5,500): KCP returned from a four-game absence with a solid night against the Kings on Monday. He ended up playing 37 minutes showing he’s fully recovered and finished with 34.75 fantasy points on 14-5-4 with three steals and block. After having the last four days off, KCP and the Pistons should be back and ready to go tonight. In his last six games in which he played the whole game, Caldwell-Pope has five games with 29+ fantasy points. Tonight against Miami, he will be a steal if he gets that kind of production again.∗∗

Garrett Temple-Sacramento Kings (4,300): Temple played a ton of minutes last night logging 33 minutes against the Pacers. However, even with the expanded playing time he had just 2-0-3 and two steals for just 8.5 fantasy points. He had been rolling with 20+ fantasy points in four straight before that letdown, and he’ll look to bounce back tonight against the Hornets. He has been getting plenty of work for the Kings since Rudy Gay’s injury, and he’ll likely continue to start as a defensive specialist logging plenty of time but not always posting a ton of production.∗∗

Brandon Knight-Phoenix Suns (3,700): If you have to go under 4K in any of your slots today, one of the options with the most upside is Brandon Knight who is coming off the bench for the Suns and offering some solid scoring punch. Knight has at least 10 points in each of his last four games and has played 20+ minutes in each of those outings. He came off the bench with  25.75 fantasy points in Denver on Thursday on 17-1-4 with a block in 29 minutes. Tonight, he should get enough playing time to take advantage of the good matchup once again.
