High Value PG

Austin Rivers-Los Angeles Clippers (5,900): Rivers’ name continues to come up in trade rumors, but he has continued to produce solid stat lines while Chris Paul has been sidelined. Rivers has at least 24 fantasy points in six straight, and his best game during that span was his 27-4-6 for 36.8 fantasy points against Atlanta. Given his current usage and the fact that he has scored 20 points in three of his last four, Rivers is a fairly low-risk play tonight against the Warriors. However, the Clippers usually can’t keep up with Golden Statewhich could leave him playing fewer minutes.∗∗

Darren Collison-Sacramento Kings (4,900): Collison has caught fire his last few games after struggling throughout much of the first few months of the season.  Collison had a huge game of 23-3-5 with a pair of steals on Wednesday against the Cavs when he totaled 37.1 fantasy points. Last night, he followed that up while logging an intense 46 minutes against the Pacers with 26-4-5- and three steals for 41.3 fantasy points. Although fatigue could be a factor as the Kings try to turn around and play the Hornets, Collison’s improved form makes him worth a look at under 5K.

Jameer Nelson-Denver Nuggets (4,700): Nelson will get another start against the Suns tonight with Emmanuel Mudiay not traveling with the Nuggets on their current two-game trip. Nelson is coming off a great game against Phoenix on Thursday when he had 13-4-9 with two steals and a block for 35.3 fantasy points. He has over 25 fantasy points in three of his last five games, and he should be able to  post another strong line against the Suns iffy backcourt defense.∗∗∗∗

Spencer Dinwiddie-Brooklyn Nets (3,900): With the Nets running out of PG options, Dinwiddie has been playing more and producing solid numbers on some nights. He has scored in double-digits in three straight after last night’s 10-1-1 and has over 20 fantasy points in two of those three games. Dinwiddie is likely set up for 30+ minutes tonight against Minnesota, and he’s the best ultra-cheap play at the point tonight.
