High Value SG

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope-Detroit Pistons (5,700): After missing four games, KCP returned with a solid night agist the Kings on Monday. He played 37 minutes in that game and totaled 34 fantasy points on 14-5-4 with three steals and block. After getting four days off, KCP should be back and ready to go tonight. In his last six games he didn’t have to leave early due to injury, Caldwell-Pope has five games with 29+ fantasy points. If he gets that kind of production again tonight, Caldwell-Pope will be a good value at this price.∗∗

Garrett Temple-Sacramento Kings (4,500): Despite playing 33 minutes last night in an overtime game in Indiana, Temple had just 2-0-3 and two steals for just 6.5 fantasy points. It snapped a string of four straight games with over 20 fantasy points, and he’ll look to bounce back to that production tonight against the Hornets. He has been playing plenty of time for the Kings since Rudy Gay’s injury, and he’ll continue to be a defensive specialist logging plenty of time but not always posting a ton of production.∗∗

Brandon Knight-Phoenix Suns (4,200): If you want a SG with more scoring potential, check out Brandon Knight who is coming off the bench for the Suns and offering some solid scoring punch. Knight has at least 10 points in four straight games and has played 20+ minutes in each of those outings. He had 24.2 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Thursday on 17-1-4 with a block in 29 minutes. Tonight, he should get enough playing time to take advantage of the good matchup once again.
