High Value PG

T.J. McConnell-Philadelphia 76ers (5,300): McConnell doesn’t score many points, but he still is one of the best sub-6K PG plays since he gets enough fantasy points from his non-scoring categories. He has at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games coming into tonight’s matchup with the Bulls. Chicago has been struggling to figure out their point guard position and has been very beatable at the point as a result.∗∗∗

Rajon Rondo-Chicago Bulls (3,900): Rondo has been right in the middle of all the turmoil in Chicago, but his production on the court makes him an intriguing cheap flier at under 4K. Right now, it looks like Jerian Grant will start with Rondo coming off the bench while Michael Carter-Williams is out of the rotation. Rondo had a great game in that situation Friday posting 13-7-7 for 37.25 fantasy points. He’s definitely volatile on a number of levels, but he has lots of upside at this price.

Cory Joseph-Toronto Raptors (3,900): With DeRozan missing the last few games, Cory Joseph has been picking up extra minutes and has played 25+ minutes in four straight. He hasn’t blown up like Rondo did late game, but he has been more stable with 20.25, 19, and 19 fantasy points in his last three games. Tonight in a good matchup with Orlando, Joseph is a safer cheap play than Rondo even though his ceiling isn’t quite as high.
