High Salary PF

Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (7,800): Green still makes sense tonight even though he didn’t do much against the Clippers last night playing just 26 minutes in the Warriors 144-98 laugher. He ended up with 5-5-5 with two blocks and two assists for 26.25 fantasy points. The reason he should out-perform those numbers tonight is a great matchup against the Blazers who allow the  most fantasy points per game to opposing PF in the NBA. Green had 9-7-11 and 3-12-13 in their last two meetings and should produce in other categories even if his shooting remains spotty. Based on his matchup, Green is a strong play although his form could ultimately keep his ceiling relatively low and his minutes are unpredictable due to blowouts like last night’s.∗∗∗

LaMarcus Aldridge-Portland Trail Blazers (6,900): Aldridge was solid enough to help the Spurs get through a couple games without Kawhi Leonard and continues to help them fill in for the injured Pau Gasol. Aldridge has at least 34 fantasy points in four straight, but he’s in a tough matchup with the Mavericks tonight. Dallas has defended the paint pretty well this season, and they limited LA to just 5-8-3 earlier this season. His matchup doesn’t help him tonight, but I still think he has enough upside to be a high-risk, high-reward option.∗∗

Markieff Morris-Washington Wizards (6,600): Morris has been on a really nice run lately with at least 32 fantasy points in seven straight games with four of those games resulting in over 38 fantasy points. He is coming off a monster 19-11-4 for 43.75 fantasy points against the Celtics on Monday of this week, and he was on his way to another huge night on Friday against Atlanta but only had to play 25 minutes while posting 15-9-1 for 32.25 fantasy points. He should get back to a full workload tonight in a great matchup for PF as he faces the Pelicans in New Orleans.∗∗∗∗
