Antonio Banderas rushed to the hospital with chest pain

Antonio Banderas was rushed to the hospital for “agonizing chest pain.”

Actor Antonio Banderas endured a very scary moment last week when he was rushed to the hospital after suffering major chest pain. According to Fox News, Banderas, 56, was working out when the episode began. The actor claimed to suddenly feel very strong pains in his chest, and paramedics were called to the scene. Banderas was transported to the hospital by ambulance, but was later released after doctors revealed it was safe to return home.

After the health scare, Antonio Banderas spoke out about the excellent care he received, and confirmed he had an “episode.” He also talked about his love for exercising.

"“I find Surrey magical. I am not a party person anymore so I have the space and peace to write and really get inside my own head. I’m working on several scripts. I go cycling in the woods and everyone in Cobham, Weybridge and Esher is incredibly friendly. Above all, I am surrounded by nature. I love watching the deer and foxes that come to my garden.”"

Many fans know Antonio Banderas from films such as Desperado, The Legend of Zorro, Original Sin, The Expendables, Interview With A Vampire and his voice work as Puss In Boots in the Shrek films. The actor is also known for being the ex-husband of actress Melanie Griffith.

After the episode, Banderas took to social media to confirm to this fans that he’s alive and well. The actor posted a photo with his current girlfriend, Nicole Kimpel. The caption read, “Enjoying nature after a little fright. Enjoying nature after a startle. Kisses.”

Thankfully, it seems that Banderas is out of immediate danger and back to his active lifestyle after suffering the intense chest pains.
