High Value SF

Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,400): Morris went off for three games over 39 fantasy points at the beginning of the week two weeks ago, but the Pistons had an extended layoff and Morris cooled off with just 18.175and 20.5 fantasy points in his last two games. Detroit visits Boston tonight in what should be an up-tempo affair, so look for a good game from Morris again tonight although his last two games definitely raise the risk factor at this price.∗∗

P.J. Tucker-Phoenix Suns (4,300): Tucker is a great value at just over 4K and has at least 26  fantasy points in four of his last five games. He ended up with 30 fantasy points on 12-6-5 in 36 minutes against the Nuggets  He doesn’t have an ultra-high ceiling, but he gets plenty of minutes and should fit in to tonight’s gritty matchup against the Grizzlies.∗∗∗∗

Caris LeVert-Brooklyn Nets (4,000): Although the Nets are being cautious with LeVert and getting him rest on back-to-backs, he has played plenty of minutes when he has been active. He played 27 minutes in Minnesota on Saturday and had 11-4-1 for 23.5 fantasy points. In each of his last five games, he has over 19 fantasy points including a breakout 36.25 fantasy points on 17-5-6 against New Orleans January 20.  With Rondae Hollis-Jefferson questionable tonight, LeVert could get even more time against the Heat who like to go small anyway and will likely allow LeVert to get plenty of time on the floor. He’s risker than Tucker, but he has lots of upside as well.∗∗

Jeff Green-Orlando Magic (3,700): Green is another bargain who appears to be under-priced given his current role in Orlando. Green has played at least 27 minutes in four of the Magic’s last five games with Evan Fournier out and Aaron Gordon struggling. Green has over 24 fantasy points in three of those five games including last night when he had 16-3-2 for 27.25 fantasy points in Toronto. He’s still high-risk, but he has a lot of upside to check out as he visits Minnesota tonight.∗∗
