FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 30
High Salary SF
LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (10,500): James carried the load for the Cavs against the Thunder yesterday producing his fourth straight double-double and totaling 25-14-8 for 53.8 fantasy points. He has at least that many fantasy points in three of his last four contests and in four of his last six. He’ll be in a tough matchup against the stout Dallas D tonight, but he definitely can get you 50+ fantasy points if he’s on his game. He’ll need to produce that many to be worth this price, but it is worth noting that he hasn’t produced 60 fantasy points (which would be over his value tonight) since before Christmas against the Bucks. As a result, I see James as a solid pick, but he’s not a “must-own” even with Kevin Love out given his price and the matchup.∗∗∗
Andrew Wiggins-Minnesota Timberwolves (7,300): Wiggins has scored at least 20 points in five straight games and has been adding solid rebounds and assists as well. He has at least 29 fantasy points in each of those outing with over 34 fantasy points in four of his last five. Tonight, he gets a good matchup against the Magic who he had 29-4-6 against when the played earlier this season. Wiggins should find space to operate tonight since the Magic have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SF over their last five games and the seventh-most on the season.∗∗∗∗
Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (6,300): Crowder continues to roll right along with over 35 fantasy points each of his last three games. He had 20-6-4 for 35.2 fantasy points against the Bucks on Saturday and played 38 minutes on the second night of Boston’s back-to-back. With Avery Bradley and Al Horford out, Crowder is getting a few more shots which is why his production (and his price) is on the rise. Crowder should be poised for more success tonight although Detroit is good about limiting opposing SF.∗∗
