FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 30
High Value SF
Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,300): Morris ripped off three games over 35 fantasy points at the beginning of the week two weeks ago, but he has cooled off with just 18.1 and 19.4 fantasy points in his last two games. Detroit gets the Celtics tonight in what should be an up-tempo affair, so look for a good game from Morris again tonight although his form raises the risk factor in rolling with him.∗∗
P.J. Tucker-Phoenix Suns (4,600): The Suns gritty, blue-collar forward continues to produce solid stats and should thrive in a matchup against the Grizzlies tonight. Tucker has at least 24 fantasy points in four of his last five games and posted a solid 12-6-5 against the Nuggets Saturday while logging 36 minutes. He doesn’t have an ultra-high ceiling but can definitely provide solid return on his sub-5K investment.∗∗∗
Caris LeVert-Brooklyn Nets (4,400): LeVert has been playing big minutes when he plays but has also been sitting out some games. He played Saturday, though, and logged 27 minutes to finish with 11-4-1 for 22.3 fantasy points. He has over 18 fantasy points in five straight games including a breakout game with 33 fantasy points on 17-5-6 against the Pelicans. With Rondae Hollis-Jefferson possibly out tonight, LeVert could get even more time against the Heat who like to go small anyway and will likely allow LeVert to get plenty of time on the floor. He’s risker than Tucker, but he has lots of upside as well.∗∗
Jeff Green-Orlando Magic (3,700): Green continues to be under-priced given his role in Orlando having played at least 27 minutes in four of the Magic’s last five games with Evan Fournier out and Aaron Gordon struggling. Green has over 22 fantasy points in three of those five games including last night when he had 16-3-2 for 25.6 fantasy points in Toronto. He’s still high-risk, but he has a lot of upside to check out as he faces the T-Wolves tonight.∗∗
